Why Block Paving?

Brick or Block paving can be used anywhere.

Block pave makes great looking great driveways and will provide many years of service.

Block pave can also be used to create paths, patios, or steps and can be designed to fit in with the driveway patterns or mixed with other paving types to create a unique feature.

Edgings can be created with a variety of materials to compliment or contrast the existing pattern of the driveway, path or patio.

Manhole covers can also fit in with the design of the driveway.

Maintenance

Although Driveways need very little maintenance, they do need brushing and washing to keep them looking good.

Dirt, debris, moss etc. gather over time and washing will clean it all off.

Maintenance keeps paving in prime condition: lack of maintenance allows paving to deteriorate.

Even if it's just a basic wash-down with soapy water, all types and forms of paving will look so much better for it, while certain types of paving tend to need a bit more care and attention to ensure they always look as smart as possible.

Installing a driveway

The first stage of building the new driveway was to dig up the old concrete drive from the front of the property.

Before

After digging out the driveway and concrete base at the front and side of the property, we laid the hard core and leveled and impacted the material. We also dug up the old tarmacadam driveway leading to the garage at the side of the property
